Eleanor Tagart has been teaching piano for over twenty five years in New Zealand and the UK. She studied teaching and performance both full time and on intensive short courses in New Zealand, the USA and the UK and is an ESA trained teacher (level 2)
After studying at universities in both Aukland and Wellington, New Zealand, Eleanor graduated with a BMus (performance) in 2002. Since then she has worked variously as a soloist, accompanist, repetiteur, and teacher.
Eleanor has taught at the first-class Suzuki summer camp in Wellington, accompanied workshops in the UK, taught for the Junior Guildhall string training programme and currently teaches privately in Bromley.
Eleanor currently plays with the Darwin Piano Trio, and the Hornbeam ensemble
